Description:
I would like to thank the veterans and their families for their service by paying back what I can. I would love to work with you.
I practice primarily the most advanced form of the BodyTalk System which is a healing system that provides the human body/mind with a way to recover from stress, which in this instance refers to any distortion of the nervous system function. The nervous system responds to any emergency by activating the fight or flight mechanism.
Injury, severe illness, emotional trauma, financial stress, overwork, poor nutrition – all trigger the emergency mode. Your heart rate increases, blood pressure increases, digestion shuts down, immune function is limited, muscles tighten, and endocrine function distorts due to too much adrenaline. This is a healthy response at first (if it were a real emergency!)
If the stress response is not relaxed, the body starts to filter information from non-emergency systems, the nervous system stops ‘talking’ to some of the body. The body stops healing itself. We get digestive disorders, immune system dysfunctions, high blood pressure, muscle tension, cardiovascular disease, mood disorders (endocrine imbalances), menstrual problems, degenerative disorders.
BodyTalk uses the latest information from clinical studies to help reset the nervous system. It brings the body out of the emergency mode to be able to restore healing.
BodyTalk uses neuromuscular feedback (muscle testing) and a very comprehensive protocol of priorities to establish where the communication breakdown has occurred and to determine all related factors. We use light hand contact and very gentle tapping to focus nervous system awareness on those areas. Tapping the head changes the surface electrical field of the body, the nervous system recognizes the change.
There is much research about the effects of the surface electrical activity on internal physiology and BodyTalk is the first modality to use this research in a systematic way.
James Oschman, Ph.D, author of “Energy Medicine, The Scientific Basis,” recently stated: “Energetic approaches can have a major impact in this time of crisis in the healthcare system by providing a sound basis for cost-effective integrative practices. Energy is the currency of all interactions in nature. To leave energetic considerations out of the equations of life and medicine is to ignore 99 percent of what is happening.
"We are just beginning to map the energetic pathways in the body. We just need a way to communicate with these electronic circuits, to turn on the right switches and harness the body’s ability to heal spontaneously. Energetic approaches work quickly and with few side effects. This is the medicine of the future.”
In clinical practice, BodyTalk has many techniques to restore healthy nervous system balance. Tapping helps get the nervous system talking to areas that have been shut down, and the body can heal itself. Even though I use additional techniques and modalities, BodyTalk is the umbrella system which I use to tell me which one is right for you at this time.
